You will need: to have completed the academic stage of training as prescribed by the SRA. This is normally evidenced by the possession (actual or predicted) of a qualifying law degree or the Common Professional Examination/Graduate Diploma in Law or a minimum second class honours average of at least 50% actual or predicted in the Common Professional Examination/Graduate Diploma in Law Additional Information IELTS 6.5 (minimum 5.5 in each component) Pearson 58-64 (minimum 51 in each component for UKVI Purposes) RPL is not accepted on this course International students applying to study a full-time taught Masters, MRes, MPhil or PhD at LJMU should check if they require an Academic Technology Approval Scheme or ATAS certificate. About this university
International students
Students from over 100 countries travel to Liverpool to study at LJMU. Therefore, the university operates a dedicated International Student Advisers system where students have access to an experienced team to assist them. The team are available for matters such as visas and immigration advice, accommodation assistance, help with financial concerns and the various support needed when living in a new country. They also organise English language workshops and study support to help those to whom English isn't a first language. Student representation is provided by the Liverpool Students Union. It operates cross five different sites with the main one being in the John Foster Building. They are responsible for the organisation of around 48 clubs and societies as well as the sports clubs. These range from volunteering work to interest and cultural groups as well as arts such as the dance or drama societies. The university has 36 sports teams from football, rugby and cricket to volleyball and American football. Most of the teams take part in the BUSC leagues as well as various intramural events. The teams have a very good record for winning championships and other awards. Sports facilities on offer include a large sport hall, gymnasium, hockey astropitches, football pitches, badminton, basketball and tennis courts as well as dance studios and a climbing wall. Most of these facilities are on the IM Marsh campus.
