Our Sport Marketing MSc programme will provide you with a robust understanding of the key principles of marketing, whilst delivering the latest best-practice from industry so that you can compete as a marketer in the fast-paced and ever-evolving sport business sector.This Sport Marketing master's programme has been designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the latest sport marketing and business management techniques, providing you with the skills needed to address associated challenges in the most effective way.You will discover how to create successful sport marketing strategies using market research, targeted marketing techniques and marketing communications knowledge, as well as project management and campaign monitoring skills. Alongside teaching of sports marketing theory and practice, as part of your Sport Marketing MSc you will gain hands-on experience of project planning and industry collaboration, through practical modules such as the Collaborative Project.Together the faculty will introduce you to the latest research driving the sport marketing, digital and media environment, and other related areas.The Institute for Sport Business is proud to partner with a number of London-based leaders in sport, including World Rugby, BT Sport, CSM Strategic, West Ham United Foundation, Sport England, and Chelsea Football Club. Loughborough is home to students from over 130 countries around the world and the international student body normally numbers some 2,500. There are various resources available for those from outside the UK to help them prepare for their time at the university and make the most of it. these includes practical elements such as visa information and booking the free coach service from Heathrow airport as well as induction and welcome sessions. There is also plenty of information available to help adjust to life in the UK and making the most of your studies. There is a specialist International Student Support team on hand at the Student Support Centre to deal with a range of issues particular to international students as well religious facilities areas for all backgrounds and faiths. The Student Union building is found to the north-east end of the campus and is responsible for a range of clubs and societies. It also has five rooms, each with their own themes and has been awarded an International Experience Award for its quality. The students are represented by the Union Council and there are also academic support services on offer. There are 56 sports clubs and a Societies Federation numbering some 80 societies. These include those working from the media centre where the TV station, radio and student magazine operate from. There are also around 45 different projects involving the students working with elderly, special needs, homeless people or the environment. The fundraising organisation raises some £1 million a year for national and international charities.
