This course is designed to allow those without a psychology undergraduate degree to develop the wide-range of subject-specific and generic skills required for a career as a professional Psychologist. Entry requirements
• Applicants should have an Honours degree with a final degree classification of at least 2:2 or international equivalent. • Degrees in areas related to the social sciences, education, health and social care, and experience in research methods are desirable. Application closing date for September 2020 entry is 5 July 2020 Only applications received on or before this date which are complete and contain all required documents will be considered. As a minimum we require degree transcript (and certificate if available), personal statement, academic reference (or work reference supporting suitability for PG study), and CV.

International students
Students travel from around 130 countries to study at the university and there is plenty of help and advice on offer for them. This starts with assistance in applying to the university and country specific information to pre-arrival advice. Once in Aberdeen there is career advice services, visas and immigration information as well as courses to help those who don’t speak English as a first language. There is also help with accommodation issues and finding the right place to live during studies. The Student Association is responsible for the clubs and societies within the university and are based in a building near the Administrative Building in the city centre. There are some 40 different societies available as well as another 32 sports clubs. Student media includes a magazine published every two months, a radio station and a TV station operating via YouTube. Sports facilities on campus include a 25m pool, various gym facilities and a large sports halls. There are a variety of fitness classes and physiotherapy options available in addition to the sports clubs. The association is also responsible for organising the Freshers Fayre held every September, a great place for students to get a feel for the university and for what they want to do outside the classroom.
