This course is targeted at aspiring and current managers who want to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of business practice whilst also having the skills to formulate strategy and inspire followers to join them on a strategic journey. This course is part of the MSc Business and Management programme, giving you the option of studying a 2 year MSc (with work placement).Throughout the course you will gain essential skills in leadership. Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline. Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

About this university
International students
Students travel from around 130 countries to study at the university and there is plenty of help and advice on offer for them. This starts with assistance in applying to the university and country specific information to pre-arrival advice. Once in Aberdeen there is career advice services, visas and immigration information as well as courses to help those who don’t speak English as a first language. There is also help with accommodation issues and finding the right place to live during studies. The Student Association is responsible for the clubs and societies within the university and are based in a building near the Administrative Building in the city centre. There are some 40 different societies available as well as another 32 sports clubs. Student media includes a magazine published every two months, a radio station and a TV station operating via YouTube. Sports facilities on campus include a 25m pool, various gym facilities and a large sports halls. There are a variety of fitness classes and physiotherapy options available in addition to the sports clubs. The association is also responsible for organising the Freshers Fayre held every September, a great place for students to get a feel for the university and for what they want to do outside the classroom.
