University of Salford has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
This course equips students with a working knowledge of the commercial property market, including its relevance to national and international financial and investment markets. Students also become professionally competent in applying current investment and appraisal techniques and learn how to make sound decisions that take into account legal, economic, facilities management and planning variables.

Applicants of this course must have a minimum of a second class honours degree. We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.

About this university
International students
Students from around 100 countries come to Salford to study and there is plenty of application information available via the website. There is also plenty of help and advice on hand including English language courses for those to whom the language isn’t native. There is advice on matters such as immigration and visas, getting a bank account, accessing health services and working between studies. There is also various clubs and societies on offer of interest to international students as well as the chance to try something new. The Students Union is based on Peel Park campus and offers representation for students, a range of advice services as well as running the sports clubs and interest societies for its members. It also operates a bar and shops on the campus. There are some 80 different sports teams and activities most of which make use of the Sports Centre and take part in the BUCS leagues as well as annual events against the neighbouring University of Manchester. there is also a Give a Sport a Go program to help people try something different and work on their health and fitness as well as fitness activities as diverse as belly dancing and circus skills! Other societies and clubs cover a range of interests from academic to arts and international as well as performing arts, political subjects and religious groups. In the volunteering area, there is the Community Actions Teams initiative that gets students involved in programs around the larger community while the Enterprise initiative helps students gain skills that will make them more attractive to employers once they finish their studies.
