Description
Supply chain management is a critical business competency. It encompasses procurement of materials, processing and distribution of products and services to customers. In many companies, 80% or more of their turnover is spent outside the organisation. This course helps you become effective in managing this. It's designed for those who will work within supply chain management. It's also suitable for anyone with a background in support functions such as sales, maintenance, finance and marketing.

About this university
International students
Combining a central location and varied program means the university attracts students from around the world. The International Office is available to help students from outside the UK to integrate with their new environment as well as with legal matters such as immigration papers and visas. There is also help and assistance on matters such as welfare and health while English language courses are available for those to whom English isn’t a first language. In addition, the website provides country specific information for applying to the university. The students Union is the heart of life outside the classroom and it operates bars and clubs on campus that work with a student budget. There are more than 50 clubs and societies to get involved with outside studies ranging from music to sport and even voluntary work. The Centre for Sport and Recreation is on John Street and is the best place to head to get involved with the various sports clubs as well as fitness and wellbeing events that take place. There are also outdoor sports facilities around the city that the university has access to. Strathclyde Music represents the various student-run music clubs and groups including a number of educational and community projects. It is also home to the Maurice Taylor Organ, one of the most important pipe organs in the country. For those of a spiritual nature, there is a Chaplaincy Centre that caters for all denominations and is found in the Graham Hills Building. There are also a number of faith groups and societies to allow people of the same faith to gather together.
