Accredited by the University of Birmingham - one of the world's leading academic institutions - our course will help you to develop your academic and professional profile while gaining the proficiency to lead others and inform change within an organisation.Who's the course for?Our course is for those who want to further develop their advanced skill set and learn how to deal efficiently with complex issues that may arise in the learning environment. It will enable you to hone your analytical skills, evaluating research and studies surrounding childhood theory and curriculum.You will require a relevant undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from a recognised institution. Candidates with relevant experience will be considered. If you have a PGCE with 60 credits, you can use these credits towards the course, meaning you could complete the course in 18 months (part-time).Why should I study the course?

**Masters Entry Requirements** - A good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or international equivalent, in any/relevant subject. - We will also consider your application if you have significant, relevant experience (3-5 years) with degree-equivalent professional qualification. - English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component **Postgraduate Diploma Entry requirements** - A minimum of a third:class honours degree - An equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution - We will also consider an equivalent professional qualification - English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component **Course Requirement** Ideally, you should be currently in relevant employment or voluntary work for a minimum of 8 hours per week. All students are required to complete an overall minimum requirement of 175 hours across two semesters. The UCB Hired team will support students who are not able to secure an appropriate role, this will take place after enrolment and induction ([email protected]). **Additional** Students must also complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) before starting this course. UCB will co-ordinate and fund the completion of the DBS check. All students must follow UCB's Code of Professional Conduct and Fitness to Practice.
