    About this university

    International students

There are an average of 3000 international students attending courses at the university each year. Help and advice starts on the website for these students with country specific information about applying as well as information about visas and immigration. Once in the country there is plenty to help them settle in including assistance with daily life matters such as finding a bank account or registering for health care. There are accommodation options and plenty of help finding work between studies. The location of the university in relation to London also means there are plenty of experiences for international students to enjoy. Extracurricular activities are organised through the Students Union which also offers support and advice for its members as well as representation. It operates a number of social facilities including bars and cafes across the various sites of the university. There are around 50 different clubs and societies on offer ranging from cultural and interest groups to sports, religious and even political themes. These include the Bangladeshi and Nigerian cultural societies and the Amnesty International club. Recreational groups include art, chess, computing, gaming and photography to name a few. There are also a number of RAG events during the year where students can volunteer on different projects to help the larger community and different causes. Sports clubs include recreational and team sports from traditional sports such as athletics and cricket to martial arts and even table tennis groups.

Chart description

These charts show how many students from your university and others applied to the destination university/field of study. Students in the charts shown received offers that were either conditional on additional documentation or unconditional. Others had their applications rejected.

The results are only accurate for academic scores. We highly recommend receiving professional advice from one of our counsellors. Our free services ensure application documents are the best they can be. We estimate that doing so can boost your chance of admission by 5% to 20%.

Acceptance description

The "acceptance chance" is a weighted average of up to three partial scores regarding your academic score/GPA compared to:

  • The official requirements from the university
  • The minimum acceptable academic level according to our experienced counsellors
  • Previous applicants who received offers of admission

If your "chances" are 50%, then we estimate that one out of two people from your university with your academic result would be accepted.

Our algorithm gives a good estimation but focuses on academic scores only. Academic scores are not the only factor. Your language ability, work experience, and activities outside of the classroom will also play a role.

The search results presented are based on students who have received professional advice from one of our counsellors and used our services to ensure application documents are the best they can be. We estimate that using this free service can increase your chance of admission by 5% to 20%.
