Our EngD projects, run by our Materials and Manufacturing Academy (M2A), are defined by our long standing industrial sponsors and address operational requirements identified by these companies. Projects are focused on our established areas of functional coatings, computer modelling and advanced materials and manufacturing. 學校資訊
國際學生
For international students, there is a wealth of information on the university's website to help them before they arrive in Wales. Once there the help is more hands on and includes information on visas and immigration as well as English language skills. The English language training services is an accredited program to assist those to whom the language isn't their first. There is also help with developing a career after university and finding co-curricular activities. For non-academic matters, there is the ISAS, the International Student Advice Service who are available for matters such as health and wellbeing, bringing families while studying and financial advice. They are based in the Keir Hardie Building within the university. There are plenty of services available to help students make the most of their time at the university. These range from student counselling and health centre to academic success programmes. The campus is one of the few in the UK to have a mosque on site as well as chaplain services. Student run media includes a radio station. The university's International Sports Village is just five minutes' walk from Singleton Park campus and has a host of facilities for the many sports clubs and teams. These include floodlit playing fields, eight-lane track, training centre, lacrosse and cricket pitches, tennis and squash courts and a climbing wall. Next door is the Wales National Pool, a 50-metre pool complying to FINA standards and was used for training for the London 2012 Olympics.
