This starts from the application process and goes right through the time spent at the university. There is practical help including how to accept the offer to attend the university and organising legal paperwork such as visas and immigration papers. There is also help with English language skills for those who don’t speak the language and an international induction program to assist with integration within the city and area. There is even help with accommodation eligibility and student funding where needed as well as an airport collection service. The Student Union is recognised as one of the top organisations of its kind in the country and runs over 100 clubs from sports to arts, cultural and interest to faith societies. Notable among these are the Bath RAG, which raises money for local charities; the Arts Society that includes theatre, musicals, dance and other performance arts and three student media outlets. Sport plays a very important part of student life at the university and the sports are organised by TeamBath.
