There is information on the website to start the process with application information as well as visas and immigration advice. Once in London the team will collect students from the airport and bring them to the campus them to their rooms. The Welcome Program is a popular series of events including social events and orientation programs. These cover everything from getting a bank account or registering with a doctor to finding the cheapest way to phone home and where to buy food. The student union offers representation, support and advice to all students at the university as well as organising activities, clubs and societies for outside the classroom. There are some fifty different clubs and societies available covering all aspects of life. These include sports, performing arts, interest groups as well as volunteering projects and those based around a specific culture or faith. Students can even apply to start their own societies when they and others share an interest not already covered by a group. Sports teams take part in the BUCS leagues against other colleges and universities and are managed by UEL Sports. It is one of the most improved universities in these leagues in recent years and has access to new sports facilities on the Docklands campus called Sportsdock, which was used by Team USA during the 2012 Olympics.
