學校資訊
國際學生
There are an average of over 1100 international students at the university each year from some 70 different countries. Country specific information can be found on the website. As well as all the information on the website to help them apply and settle in, these students can also make use of the International Student Support service, available to help with a range of academic and non-academic issues such as visas, immigration and financial matters as well as accessing health care. There are also English language programs to help those wanting to learn or improve their English skills. The Student Union is the heart of activities outside the classroom for the students and offers them support, advice and representation. It also operates a number of bars across the campuses screening major sports events as well as holding regular themed nights such as comedy and poker. There is a student run radio station also broadcasting 24 hours a day available online. There are a wide range of sports available through the union across the different sites. These make use of the Trust Sports Centre in Paisley and the Hamilton Leisure Centre in Hamilton as well as other facilities. They range from traditional sports such as football and rugby to newer sports such as basketball and snow sports into fitness and self-defence activities such as tae kwon do classes and volleyball.
