Are you looking to work in a dynamic sector where talented individuals are in high demand? This two-year course with study abroad combines management studies with a strong specialist focus on operations, logistics and supply chain management (LCSM).The specialist LCSM modules cover strategic procurement, sustainable supply chains, improving the supply chain, and strategic partnerships. The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) which will give you extra credibility in the eyes of potential employers.Additionally the course is covered by the prestigious AACSB accreditation for Newcastle Business School, which was ‘Business School of the Year' at The Times Higher Education Awards 2015.In the second year of this course you'll undertake study in another country for one semester. Employers often prefer applicants who have a strong international awareness and studying abroad will help you stand out from others. Our partner institutions offer study related to the areas of operations, logistics and supply chain management and will increase your experience.

Applicants should normally have: A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent, in a related discipline such as transport, logistics, or in business. Relevant work experience in the sector will also be considered. Students from over 100 countries travel to study at Northumbria and there is plenty of support and assistance on hand to help them adapt to their new home. To start with there is country specific information for applicants on the website as well as information about immigration and visas. Once in Newcastle, there is plenty of help and assistance including English language courses and assistance with those trying to find employment between their studies. The union is responsible for the organisation of various volunteering and charity work opportunities in the larger community and further afield. In addition, there are more than 100 societies to get involved with based around interests, cultures, sports or arts to name a few. Societies are a great way to meet people with similar interests or learn about something completely new. Students even have the chance to start up their own club or societies if they find a gap and have a shared interest with others. The Student Union is the representation of students attending the university as well as organising various services and the clubs and societies for outside the classroom. Within the student union building are a number of social venues including three bars.
