University of Wales Trinity Saint David has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.

MSc Web and Software Development. This MSc programme lies within an area of fast-changing technology and provide more advanced and focussed skills and knowledge. While students are equipped with knowledge of the current state of the industry, there is an emphasis on skills for lifelong learning, so that the students will be able to update their skills throughout their careers.

Students travel from around the world to study at the university and there is plenty of help and information available for them. This starts with application information by country as well as immigration and visas information. There is an orientation program that helps students with normal daily life matters such as getting a bank account or registered with a doctor that may be very different to what they are used to. There is also English language support for those wanting to gain or add to their grasp of the language. There are also cultural programs to help enjoy their time in Wales to the fullest. Students at the university are represented by the Students Union who also provide support and advice for its members as well as organising the activities outside the classroom. Societies and clubs range from sports to faith and culture as well as interest based, cultural and political. Students can also get involved with volunteering and charity work as well as student media and even with the running of the union itself. In the sports clubs area there are a number of different activities including traditional sports such as rugby, badminton, football and cricket. All of these sports can make use of the dedicated facilities across the campuses with the Carmarthen campus also have swimming pool, gym and fitness suite and AstroTurf pitches.
